Adoptee Circle 2026

Adoption is a lifelong journey, and its impact can shift across different stages of life. This monthly online group is a welcoming space for adolescent and adult adoptees who are current or former clients of Cape Town Adoption Support. Whether you’re seeking continuity after individual therapy or simply a place to connect with others who share your experience, this group offers a safe, supportive environment to reflect, grow, and be heard. This group is designed to help you maintain therapeutic gains and prevent emotional setbacks, while you explore adoption-related experiences in community and discover shared threads and honour your unique story. Through gentle, guided reflection and open conversation, members deepen their understanding of identity, belonging, and the evolving meaning of adoption.

The group is aimed at adolescent and adult adoptees who are current or previous clients, but new participants are welcome following an intake session with Jean to ensure the group is a good fit.

Cost: R350 per session (affordable and claimable depending on your medical aid benefits)

This is a space to be seen, supported, and understood—where your voice matters and your experience is met with empathy and care.
